Refund policy
The Art of the Order: Cancellation Policy
Each Davika Design rug is a masterpiece of patience and heritage, meticulously made-to-order. We invite our clients to embrace the journey of creation, which typically spans 2 to 20 weeks for delivery, depending on the complexity and size of the weave.
Due to the specialized nature of our production, our cancellation policy is as follows:
-
The Grace Period: You may cancel your commission for a full refund within the first four weeks of order placement.
-
The Commencement of the Loom: After four weeks, your rug is formally committed to the loom. Beyond this point, production cannot be halted.
-
Late Cancellations: Any cancellation requested after the four-week mark will incur a 15% production fee, which will be deducted from your final refund to cover the artisanal labor and materials already dedicated to your piece.
All requests must be submitted in writing to our concierge at support@davikadesign.com.
The Return Policy
We curate our collections to the highest standards of international artistry. Should a rug not perfectly complement your space, we accept returns of pieces in their original, pristine condition within 30 days of delivery.
-
Restocking: Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
-
Final Sale & Custom: To maintain the exclusivity of our offerings, swatch samples, "Last Call" acquisitions, and bespoke commissions are final sale.
-
Timing: To ensure the integrity of our inventory, we cannot accept return requests beyond the 30-day window.
Return Procedures
To initiate a return, please submit your request in writing to our concierge at support@davikadesign.com.
-
Pristine Condition: Items must be returned unused, unaltered, and in their original, high-end packaging. Any piece affected by third-party treatments (such as fabric sprays) will not be eligible for a refund.
-
White-Glove Logistics: For your protection, all returns must be dispatched with a tracking number and comprehensive insurance. The client is responsible for all return freight charges.
-
Authorization: The RMA number must be clearly displayed on the exterior of the packaging. Items received without prior authorization will be declined at the client's expense.
-
Resolution: Upon a successful inspection by our quality team, a refund will be issued to your original form of payment, less the restocking fees. For refund inquiries, please contact our concierge team at support@davikadesign.com.
The Artisanal Hallmarks: As our rugs are handcrafted on the loom, slight variations in dye lots and subtle pattern irregularities are not defects; they are the storied signatures of authentic, luxury craftsmanship.
Damaged or Defective Acquisitions
We request that you or your representative inspect each piece thoroughly upon arrival in the presence of the courier.
-
Refusal of Delivery: If a shipment arrives with visible damage to the packaging, please refuse the delivery immediately.
-
Documentation: If you cannot inspect the item at the moment of arrival, please mark the shipping documents as "Subject to Inspection." It is vital to note any tears or irregularities on the Bill of Lading (BOL).
-
Claims: Please notify us immediately of any discrepancies at support@davikadesign.com. Photographic documentation of the defect and the packaging is required for all claims.
Davika Design cannot assume liability for damage once a shipping document is signed without specific notations of concern. Upon verification of a defect, we will prioritize the re-weaving and delivery of a replacement piece for your collection.
